Quilt MN Central East Bus Tours and More

Tackle Box Bus Tour, a two day bus tour of the 11 quilt shops of the Central East Section of Quilt Minnesota.  Sign up before May 30th and it’s only $89.  After that the price is $99.  It’s a two day trip to get to all of the shops.  Friday and Saturday August 3 and 4.  Sleep at home in your own bed or book a night’s stay at one of our suggested hotels.  There are four different places where you can catch a bus.  Elk River, White Bear Lake, Target at694/65 (Central Ave), and near the Mall of America.  Except for the Target, the pick up places are mass transit lots.

Best part–each rider will get $110 in gift certificates.  That’s a $10 gift certificate from each of the 11 shops.  10×11=$110  what a deal! They are good for purchases from September 2012 to February 2013.

Wait–there’s more!  Getting your passport stamped  all 11 Quilt MN Central East shops will qualify you for the section’s prize drawing.  The list of prizes includes 8 (count them 8!) Fabulous quilting retreats!  There will also be several very nice gift baskets.  And who knows what else we will add to the prizes.

We will also be doing Quilter’s Reference  Guide.  You’ll get tips at each shop, with a $10 purchase.  The tips will be nicely printed on plastic cards.  At the end, when you’ve visited all 11 shops, you will get a nice little case to hold your cards.

Keep an eye on the Quilt Minnesota page for more details.

We’re planning our hopping!

We’ve been busy planning Shop Hops–both Quilt Minnesota in August and the Harvest Sampler in October.

We have a great plan for buses in the CENTRAL EAST section during Quilt Minnesota–you won’t want to miss them!  Stayed tuned for more info.  Quilt Minnesota goes from Friday August 3 to Sunday August 19.  Go to www.quiltminnesota.com for info about this statewide shop hop.  Watch here for info about the Central East section’s plans.

The Harvest Sampler Shop Hop runs from Thursday October 11 to Saturday October 20.  Watch for more info on the shops and events.

There’s still room in our classes.  Check them out.  Our teachers are wonderfully talented as well as patient.  We keep our classes small–4 to 6 people, so that you-the student-gets lots of attention.

There are a couple of quilt shows in February–check the quilt show page for more info.

Happy Quilting!
