Handi Quilter Show Machines for Sale

Handi Quilter will be at the MQS show in Overland Park, Kansas as well as Quilt Market (trade show) in Kansas City, Missouri.  They will have a limited number of HQ 18 Avante’s, HQ 24 Fusions, Pro Stitchers, and HQ Sweet Sixteen Sit-Downs available at a great price.  And you save on freight.  The machine must be ordered and paid for by May 15.  You can pick it up at the end of the show or Char can bring it back in her vehicle at the end of the show. New Stuff: Handi Quilter upgrade, Quilt Minnesota and Harvest Sampler info

Handi Quilter has a new machine wheel and carriage track update available.  They look good and are a great price and exhibit greater endurance and smoothness.  See Charlotte’s Quilting Web, or your local HQ dealer or Handi Quilter for more info.

Quilt MN Central East Bus Tours and More

Tackle Box Bus Tour, a two day bus tour of the 11 quilt shops of the Central East Section of Quilt Minnesota.  Sign up before May 30th and it’s only $89.  After that the price is $99.  It’s a two day trip to get to all of the shops.  Friday and Saturday August 3 and 4.  Sleep at home in your own bed or book a night’s stay at one of our suggested hotels.  There are four different places where you can catch a bus.  Elk River, White Bear Lake, Target at694/65 (Central Ave), and near the Mall of America.  Except for the Target, the pick up places are mass transit lots.

Best part–each rider will get $110 in gift certificates.  That’s a $10 gift certificate from each of the 11 shops.  10×11=$110  what a deal! They are good for purchases from September 2012 to February 2013.

Wait–there’s more!  Getting your passport stamped  all 11 Quilt MN Central East shops will qualify you for the section’s prize drawing.  The list of prizes includes 8 (count them 8!) We’re planning our hopping!

We’ve been busy planning Shop Hops–both Quilt Minnesota in August and the Harvest Sampler in October.

We have a great plan for buses in the CENTRAL EAST section during Quilt Minnesota–you won’t want to miss them!  Stayed tuned for more info.  Quilt Minnesota goes from Friday August 3 to Sunday August 19.  Go to www.quiltminnesota.com for info about this statewide shop hop.  Watch here for info about the Central East section’s plans.

The Harvest Sampler Shop Hop runs from Thursday October 11 to Saturday October 20.  Watch for more info on the shops and events.

There’s still room in our classes.  Check them out.  Our teachers are wonderfully talented as well as patient.  We keep our classes small–4 to 6 people, so that you-the student-gets lots of attention.

Note from Char:  Life gets crazy once in a while, especially late summer and fall.  All these shop hops and quilt shows.  Finally getting a chance to catch up.  I’ll get the class schedule together shortly.  It will start again in January.  They will include the basic technique classes and project classes.  We will be closed on Thanksgiving, open regular hours the rest of the time.  I’m still figuring out Christmas and Inventory schedules.
